The flyff community is used to restarting their characters after all and is no longer that bothered about it. Old Krona servers did this 4 times in 1 year if I remember correctly. It's a solid way to renew a server and get it running again. It's a common cheap trick to shut a server down when it's not going so well for it, or when it's core player base is happy with what they have and no longer feel the need to donate any more, rather than spending time and work to add more stuff in the cash shop and risk being called p2w, they go away for a few months, then relaunch out of the goodness of their hearts, knowing very well that many of their players will return.

They are not the only server out there to do so. But in order for them to do so, they need to reach the same stability and smoothness as the top servers. Krona is better in that department. But yeah, in terms of what server to play it is more or less Krona vs Clockworks, all else are either smaller no name server or dead cows still having its milk beaten out of them. There are quite a few interesting smaller servers that have a lot of potential to get6 up and play with the bigger servers. While grind and rng are good to keep things running longer, too much will have the opposite effect. Clockworks current issue is that well, it somewhat feels very grindy and RNGy compared to Krona. Outside of the team, Krona is very well made and worth checking out.In Krona vs Clockworks, Clockworks did beat Krona during its first 2 months being online, many of the top Krona players even moved over there for a period of time, no clue if they stayed around. I do not trust the team behind it based on their past stuff, they don't exactly have a good reputation, although they covered it quite well.
